Kotor, Montenegro

Kotor, hidden between mountains, provide the traveler with the WOW feeling as soon as you are approaching the city.

Medieval city, still keeping the charm on it. Around the port area you will find the usual tourist services, one you are close to the main square, numerous restaurants will offer you the local menu (basically meaty dishes).

Kotor was also a surprisingly full of art city, and not only old times art....Modern art is also present:

I visited Kotor in 2010 for the first time and I was lucky enough to get to visit a few days more in 2011. It is like Venice, I will never be bored to roaming around their magic little streets.

For the (European) shopping fans, euro is the currency of Montenegro! They adopted the old German currency (Deutsche Mark) and when Germany changed into Euro, they adopted the euro too.

If you wonder where in the world is Kotor or Montegro, have a look into the map!
