Batu Bata Guesthouse in Kuching, Malaysia

I was honored to be the first guest ever in this guest house! Obviously everything was brand new, tribal decoration impressive.

Batu-Bata means "brick" in Bahasa Malay.

The main lobby is provided with a desk computer for the costumers and free WIFI is available in whole the guesthouse. Complimentary hot and cold water also in the pantry area. Many travel and books magazine to read if you have time with so many things to do in Kuching!
There is several types of rooms, including male and female dormitory (6 beds) and some double rooms (2 of them with windows) in a price range of 30-80RM.

My lovely room

Views from my room. Chinatown

D? No "N" for Noelfy?

One of the high point of this guesthouse is the top roof, decorated with plants and flower.

The location is also very convenient,  in Carpenter Street, in the heart of Chinatown, besides one Buddhist temple. Many eateries in the area.

If you want to book, contact Mr. Hasweera or Ms Patricia +6082-239075, write them an email customercare@batubataguesthouse.com or just pass by this address if you arrive suddenly in Kuching City : No. 8, 1st Floor, Carpenter Street, Kuching 93100, Sarawak, Malaysia

Have you ever been the first guest ever somewhere? I would love to hear your story!
