The airport of Puerto Princesa is located at 2km of the city. It is a domestic airport with daily flights to Manila, Cebu and Iloilo city. The airport is quite easy to reach, just follow the airport road (where you will find delicious restaurants as Kalui or the Vietnamese noodle places or overpriced and bad quality food as Lotus).

A tricycle to the airport should cost you 30 pesos. From the airport to the city there is the trick of the airport supplement, but just exit the airport, exit and you can hire a tricycle for 10 pesos minimum fare.

The Puerto Princesa Airport (I hear someone call it International Airport but I haven’t hear about any international flight landing here so far) is quite small. Terminal fee is 40 pesos (except some companies flying out of Manila, you are supposed to pay your terminal fee at the airport in cash prior departure)
Inside the airport, there is not much to do either. One restaurant (who is designed for smoker), two shops and the blind people giving massage. I took 45 minutes massage for 200 pesos. Blind masseurs are quite good in the Philippines, especially in airport like Puerto Princesa with no much leisure entertainment options.
Flying to Puerto Princesa Airport is definitely the cheapest option when traveling to El Nido or to the Underwater River.in Sabang. Flying to El Nido Airport could set you back 7000 pesos (170$) if you book it in advance while flying to Puerto Princesa around 2000 (48$)
